This project has been rolled out in all 1,566 of the Group's stores across 60 countries and beginning from this season, the PEFC or FSC stamp can be found on all Cortefiel, Springfield and women'secret paper bags.
The certificates evaluate all stages of forestry production, from the tree to the final product, to ensure that the wood used comes from environmentally well-managed forests that are assessed throughout the entire process which the raw materials /go through.
The measure is in line with other projects based on the re-design of the packaging to minimize waste production, substituting plastics for other materials of lesser environmental impact, as well as the reduction of the size of packaging and unnecessary elements.
